Vienna in the summer of 1982. 35-year-old Jacky Nemec finally has served his sentence of four years for a bank robbery. His welcome back committee and best pal Schneckerl wants to introduce him to the new life of freedom straight away. However, a score needs to be settled first, but this ends in a lot of trouble. They need to leave the city at once, so it’s good that a former buddy of theirs has made his name at Hamburg’s notorious red light district and works for the big fish there.
Whores at each and every corner, corrupt policemen, war between the rival gangs GMBH and Nutella – the newcomers first have to get used to the rough atmosphere of Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. But the assimilation happens fast and the two Austrians soon make their reputation. The two of them rapidly work their way up the top and rake in tons of money. That, however, brings about powerful enemies and the two Viennese buddies are soon caught up in a maelstrom of drugs, traps, and infighting, from which only one party can emerge unscathed.
